Hello internet visitor,
My name is Anthony Stauffer. In November of 2007, I started putting blues guitar lessons on the internet. As the lessons gained popularity I started StevieSnacks.com to showcase the lessons as well as sell longer videos. As popular as the lessons have been, I get a lot of questions about gear and tone.
These questions led me to consider doing the same thing for gear as I was for the guitar lessons. After months of lab research it was evident that OldToneZone was the best name for a site focused on that vintage tone that so many people search for. Mainly due to the fact that most other good names were taken.
Yes this is a site about that tone you hear on so many good songs. I’m a strat-style guitar / Fender style amp man, so most of my first videos on this site will center around those things, but who knows where it will go from here.
