Hey Anthony,
This tool is incredible. Saves tons of time trying to compare.
Wondering about how you personally feel on how your (old favorite) Nobel's ODR-S stacks up against your new Holy Fire? Is the Holy Fire your new go-to pedal. WHen would you use one versus the other?

I've recently buy a Voodo Lab Sparkle Drive (similar to the Ibanez 808) but I don't know how to turn the tone gain, ... in the pedal and the amplifier to imitate Stevie's sound

Hi John,

Of the two pedals you mentioned, the Fulldrive is the more flexible of the two. It's hard to make a recommendation without having played that guitar through that amp however.

I recently picked up a Peavey Classic 30 amp to use with my Fender Std. Telecaster guitar, which I have upgraded the pickups in. I have a Dimarzio EJ Custom humbucker in the neck, and a Dimarzio Area Hot T in the bridge. Do you have a suggestion as to which of these pedals might sound best with this amp using a Telecaster guitar? I am leaning toward a Sparkle Drive or a Fulldrive 2.

Great stuff here. I do wish it had some of the cheap Danelectro pedals though, the Cool Cat Distortion/transparent overdrive/metal II... been wanting to hear those compared side by side with a TS 808 or something.

Excellent thing here. Really helpful stuff. I was shocked how good the Bad Monkey sounds compared to any other pedal in it's price range (bluesbreaker II, TS7) and actually held it's own next to a ts808. Great stuff here, many kudos to you!

Hey Jeff try using a Boss SD-1. It's just a TS-808 with symmetrical clipping and its a whole lot cheaper. Perfect SRV sound if you're using s strat, i Promise! :-)

(Stevie used two TS-808s. One for main OD and one as a boost)

Anthony - Wow, this is an impressive undertaking, and a strong concept. The 3 settings options are well thought out, and I especially like that you included the option to hear "no effects" for reference. Obviously, it will be impossible to demonstrate every pedal offered, but hopefully you can keep adding the most common pedals players would like to compare.

Maybe pedal builders would be willing to loan you pedals for inclusion in this project. Over time, you would build an impressive audio database. The bigger it becomes, the more valuable it will be as a reference source. I think this "comparinator" concept would also work well with pickups and amplifiers.
